Cardiff Scrape Win Against Ulster

Ben Blair rescued the Blues from defeat against Ulster to record their first win of the season.

The scores read 13-15 to the Irish province just 10 minutes before time but a Ben Blair penalty snatched a welcome victory for the Blues at the Arms Park.

Botha went over for Ulster before the break making it 6-8 to the away side, Halfpenny did put the Blues back in the lead only for Isaac Boss to regain the lead for his side.

There was pressure against the Blues all through the half in a game that could have gone either way, but Blair who had earlier hit the post with an earlier penalty this time made Ulster pay.
